Welcome to Romans Five.

This is a place for me to rejoice. I also play with website development here.

December 2020 I moved to Texas.

I am now living in South Texas.

May 2021I recreated this site on a new server. Still with the same hosting service, SiteGround, one of the best. may 2027 I completely redesigned this site and upgraded the Joomla version.

This is my personal site. At times you may see things like a PayPal payment page or a place to login. I am not selling anything and if you were to login there will most likely be nothing special to see. But on the other hand a PayPal link will, in fact, deposit money into my personal PayPal account and you will get absolutely nothing in return, so don't do it please. I use this site to test things and figure different configuration options for things I am planning.

Please read Romans 5:1-11 I picked the name Romans Five because Rejoice is used three times in the passage.

Therefore, since we have been declared righteous by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in the hope of God’s glory. Not only this, but we also rejoice in sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance, character, and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. (For rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person perhaps someone might possibly dare to die.) But God demonstrates his own love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, because we have now been declared righteous by his blood, we will be saved through him from God’s wrath. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, how much more, since we have been reconciled, will we be saved by his life? Not only this, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received this reconciliation.

The New English Translation uses the word "rejoice" in verses 2, 3 and 11. We are to rejoice in the hope of God's glory, rejoice in suffering, and finally rejoice in God. I will have more to say on this later...

I believe that if we see something three times in a short passage we should pay attention, so I urge you to rejoice in the hope of God's glory, rejoice in suffering, and finally rejoice in God.
